Plasma TV Buying Guide Comments
This new plasma size class will be offered in 54", a strange but useful size. Previously Panasonic went from 50" to 58" in their plasma size categories. This new plasma which supposedly will start shipping in summer of 2009 will offer Panasonic's new web menu called Viera Cast. It will also include HD movie rental capability from Amazon's Video-on-Demand.
It will also offer Wireless High Def connectivity, 1080p resolution, and THX Certifification. At only 1 inch in depth we're thinking this flag ship plasma may not be on the inexpensive side of the price equation.
SD Memory card slots will again be included for playback of Viera compatible digital pictures and video recordings.
